Clever idea....I think!

Something you don't know about me........I have a weakness for organizers.....I love to find little items that I can use for other then what they were intended for and this is one I thought I'd share with you!

Have you guessed.....it's an eyeglass case....and see what I put inside!
I thought this was a great case to carry these metal bobbins in for a sewing project or crazy quilting project....you can wind them with ribbon, specialty yarn, embroidery floss, thread...the sky's the limit. The bobbins you see in here are the cheap ones you can get at the .99 store....I think there was 4 or 5 to a package....can't beat that now...what a deal.

When closed the case is only an inch thick and easy to carry in one of those cloth zippered pencil pouches that I carry my projects in.

What have you found for a use other then what it was intended for?

What a clever idea, I wonder if a rotary cutter would fit in one?? May have to investigate these. We have one of those 99p shops near us, they sell glasses - can you believe - they are in a snazzy case. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow. Thanks Noel. :-)

I use the tubs our Glucosomine tablets come in to store my pens and pencils in. Also the clear plastic tubs the cotton buds come in are useful for same items, pens in one pencils in the other.
Oh and this will make you laugh - or not !! - you know the little bottles you have to use at the Doctors for a 'sample' heehee, I bought a load of them and use them for my beads. I stress they are unused!!!! :-)

Jan, I have a regular hard eye glass case that come from the doctors and you can put a lot of items in them for storage needs as well....you gotta love the .99 shops....lol!

Those are really great ideas too...I don't know what Glucosomine tablets are....but you bet I will be looking for them next time I go to the drug store....oh btw....I'm glad those containers for your beads were never used...hehehe!

Noel, the Glucosomine tablets are for Arthritus, so you wont need them, hoho, we buy them in bulk, they come from Jersey in the Channel Islands, they come in a big white tub. I used to throw them in the re-cycle bin, but now I keep them. They are clean when the tablets are all used up, oh, it has a lid too, but I don't use that. Actually, I was thinking to write to the company and ask if they could go in a see-through tub, that would be great wouldn't it? Do you think I dare!!!!! hahahaha

I use plastic pencil cases that I found at Walgreen's Drugs for .50 to store my rotary cutter. Then I went back and bought more to give as gifts to sewing friends. I photocopied my rotary cutter and put that picture in the case so the ladies would know exactly what to use it for! What fun we have with oddments!

Maggie, great idea....those lipstick holders you can find at the .99 store as well....I'm on a mission now to find a couple of them as well....thanks for the idea!

Oh I just thought of another idea with the lipstick cases....you can remove the mirror and replace it with a magnetic strip and use it for needle and/or pins.
Oh I love the flow of ideas!!

Jan, I wish that was true....I do have arthritus in my hands...which I've had since a little girl and in my back...due to a head, neck and back injury in high school!
I will ask my doctor about those tablets too....thanks for letting me know!
