In a Second.....

Yesterday, I was faced with the realization again, that life can be taken away in a split second.....
Bryan and I were out running errands yesterday and for some reason in the middle of it I got real tired and asked him if we could go home and finish later...of course he said OK!
Well, as we were coming down the road to home a van pulled out of and apartment complex and hit a kid walking on the sidewalk on his way home from school.....the van drug him into the street and the young boy was under his wheel....we immediately stopped...I jumped out and ran over to see if I could help while Bryan directed traffic.
The boy was in shock and I immediately asked if I could pray over him real quick and he said that was fine.....when I finished a doctor appeared out of now where and two nurses came from another direction.....there is no hospital around but my hubby told me that the doctor had a sign on the side of his vehicle "Road Doctor"....is that cool or what. Apparently there are doctors and nurses that are hooked into the 911 system and when they get a call like that they immediately respond....they sure were there faster then the ambulance.
I don't' know the boys name or if he is ok....I'm just believing in the healing power of the Lord at this time.
I did make me think how precious our lives are and how in a split second we could take our last breath!
Think about this for a second..........do you know what will happen to you when you die.....if not please ask me I would love to help you know for sure!

OH my. How awful to experience that, but you know, God put you there at that moment for a reason. Maybe it was so you could pray over the youngster, who knows. We'll never now, but...there was a reason. Bless you Noel!

Jan & Sherry, thank you for your kind words...it was God's desire that we be there at that time and I'm so glad I obeyed!

Hugs,
Noel
