Week of Prayer and Fasting....

This week ends a 40 day long prayer and fasting for many churches here in California and around the country.....it ends November 1st with a huge gathering of a final day of prayer and fasting at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego....if you want to read more about it, you can go to this website "The Call". I'm excited to say that both Bryan and I will be participating in this day event on Saturday! God is so good He arranged his schedule to have the day off.....awesome!!!

If there ever was a time needed for fasting and praying, it's now...on the eve of our presidential election and with the mess the country is....if I can quote a comment from Cathie at Clevelandgirlie ...... "Ahhh the power of prayer and faith - it knows no bounds" and how true that is!!!

I have been reading the book of "Joel".....with only three chapters it's message is very powerful. The theme of the book is "The day of the Lord". It's amazing how this book relates to this day and time we are in.

A little trivia for you...."The day of the Lord" is mentioned 19 times in the Old Testament, (5 times in Joel) and 4 times int he New Testament.

Now I'm asking that if anyone would like to join me in this week of prayer and/or fasting for a day, please do so....our nation needs it!

There is power in prayer!!!!

I will be praying along side you. One of Lou Engel's intercessor/friend's live in Wmsburg. When all this began my entire family was able to participate in the first Call in DC. Our church took a bus load up. It is really amazing what God does when His people humble themselves and pray for His will to be done.

Thanks Dove, it's going to be an amazing day. I look forward to see the H.S. moving in those 12 hours!
