Woo Hoo...Great Mail Day!!

Look at the beautiful package that awaited me in my brand new big mail box yesterday when I returned home for a day out with Bryan........WOW!!

Look at those luscious rainbow colors of silk and the silver fabric was what they were all wrapped in. They came all the way from England as a gift from my dear friend Janet....what a sweetheart!
Check out the packages of sequins and the neat looking decorative cloths pins....guess what Janet....I sat and separated the big bag of sequins.....reminded me of when I use to sit and go through my mama's buttons and separate them as a child........I loved it!

Thank you Janet for your generous gift.......I guess one good turn deserves another...hehehehe!

These silks are just what I needed for starting Crazy Quilting.....something I want to try my hand at again for some time now......it's been over 20 years.

The bible says "it's better to give then to receive" but today I'm thanking God for being the one that received such a beautiful blessing today!

Oh I am so pleased they have arrived. I couldn't actually remember what I had sent you, then when I saw you had sat and seperated all those sequins, I did. heehee, sorry. I do hope they are the right ones you wanted.
It was a pleasure to share the sari silks with you, if you need anymore let me know, you have a piece of every colour I own, I had a 'ripping' time doing them. The stray threads from them will drive you mad when you start using them, keep them though cos you can use them for embellishments. NOTHING gets thrown away here.
Enjoy, my friend it is my pleasure to bring a little sunshine into your life. Call it an RAK. :-)

You have a very nice beginning stash! Did she include a warning label? One that says: Warning CQ is addictive, though not hazardous to your health.
