Is it just me or does anyone else notice that a lot of blogs have tons of advertising on them....what is up with that! Advertisements have infiltrated our blog world something fierce!
It irritates me to no end when I go to a blog, wait in anticipation for it to come up, only to see that the waiting was for all the ads that are there....I don't waste my time, nor do I bookmark them to return.
I don't buy magazines like I use to for this very reason....if you took out all the advertisement in a magazine, I bet you would only end up with about ten pages worth of material that you bought the magazine for in the first place. You would be surprise what you can find on the Internet for free without having to buy a magazine! Just like TV...I don't pay for cable or dish.....why when I can watch it for free on the Internet and commercial free....love that!
Now, before I go any further let me make it clear that I'm not talking about the icons or links to other blogs....no, I'm talking about ads that you would find in magazines or commercials that you see on tv....yep...those kind!

Confession time....I do have a few on my Blog I have to say, they are friends and I try to boost their sales without being too pushy!!!! as if!!!! (((hugs))) lol jan
Jan, that's not what I'm talking about.....things on our blogs that promote other bolgs are welcomed...I mean real honest to goodness commercial ads...like for sinus medication, or diet pills...that kind of stuff!!!
Promoting one's etsy site or web site for supplies is just fine...I like those...I have a few on mine as well.
